Well, when I go back to finish my biology degree this fall, I will be working part-time so he will be making more money than I do. Until I graduate, that is, and then I will make more money again.

However, since we have joint finances, and the many of the same interests, what actually matters is how much discretionary income we have as a household. Right now, not much *sigh* lots of rice and beans, crock pot cooking.

If I wanted to be richer, I would have married another type-A personality like myself. I need my guy's calm pragmatic outlook to remind me to chill out, sit down, and relax.

Again, if you are worried that all women are gold-diggers, only go out with the ones who make more than you do! If you don't want kids, date women who don't want kids! It isn't rocket science, but it does take some work, and the vitriolic anti-female rhetoric is not increasing your chances of attracting an awesome, self confident, honest, self-reliant chick.
