My hubby was so freaked out about switched babies he had a blood relitave keep the kid in sight at all times durring the 24 hours we spent in the hospital. He had two unbudagable demands and the first was the kid will be with a relative at all times after it leaves the womb. Never mind that we live in a community of about 18,000 people and I went to HS with one of my nurses and my hubby went to HS with the other. It was a long day. Sigh.

Second IncogNeato is right, it's about manners. End of story. You act like a gracious host and guest. You invite your childrens date(s) du jour to basic gatherings, unless of course they are murderers, rapists, child sex offenders, or unspeakable filthy. Likewise you don't drag people home to screw at your folks house, no matter how long ya all have been at it, nor do you use a dinner party to proclaim your new love in chicks, god(s), drugs, or politics.
