Given the success of Rose & Oden & others making the NCAA finals during their "year" of college, plus the dominance of one-and-dones in the 1st round of the draft, I don't see most kids choosing to leave behind their entire communities and support systems to go hang out in Croatia for a year. The year of college makes them that much more of a brand for the brands, which is where they make their real money during their rookie contract anyway. But, for those unable to pay attention in math class, this is definitely an option better than the D-League.
