re: poor people vs. rich people (fatness)

I once was in a situation where I had to go on food stamps. No only did they give me WAY TOO MUCH money for just my son and me every month, but they put no limit on what we could buy. I could stock up on Hohos and Dr. Pepper, and no one would have cared. I think if these people (I'm referring to people who make it their life's ambition to stay on govt. assistance) need government assistance, the assistance should be regulated. Let's get them healthier and off social programs.

As for rich people not being any fatter, it's because they have time to work out and money to get personal trainers. Being a full-time graduate student, having a full-time job and owning my own business, the only time I have to work out every day is between 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning. Yeah, not gonna happen.
