Another example I thought of. You mentioned requiring someone to attend a class to pick out a good marriage partner. I think that's unreasonable and a bit different because of the amount of time it involves. But what about if, when you apply for a marriage license, one of the things you had to read was a paragraph suggesting (not requiring) that you attend pre-marriage counciling sessions at a church or civic organization or whatever?
