Hey, It's a political campaign
by bordhead

If anything, Obama is manifesting that he is a good politician. So is John McCain for that matter. It's a political campaign for god's sake. What do you expect? The question has always been: can the candidate be a good politician and a then be a good president when it's all over. Hell, Dubya is a very astute politician, but a President? Let's just say he will certainly have his place in the dust bin of history.

So, Obama is pissing off the progressives and liberals and could lose some of their votes. John boy is pissing off the hard line conservatives, and may lose their votes. They’re both pursuing the strategy that most presidential candidates have done in the past: avoid the extremes and concentrate on the middle. In the mean time they will both work hard to be all things to all people, kiss a lot of babies and ass, and be, what else--Politicians.

God, I get tired of the stupid flip-flop label that the press loves to flaunt. People, and especially leaders of nations, need to have the intelligence and wherewithal to make assessments and change their position if it is the right thing to do.

I say when it's all over we need some much needed intelligence, good judgment, and someone who will be--Presidential. What a concept! Something we sure haven't had for the last eight years, that's for sure.
