Experiment with 'rabbit overpulation' models, have shown that when a population gets out of control , some virus or other bacteria mutates enough to infect the population (weakened by proper food and water) such that almost 90% is wiped out on the island. Those who even survive the epidemic, are left with completely stripped food supply and other 'infectious' new infectious threats they are in poor shape to combat. This 'overpopulation' model is being archeologically well documented as having occured Easter Island in the Pacific where a large population 'eco-destroyed' themselves as described. When the 'island' was re-discovered by European contacts, it contained a very small population on an island stripped of trees and other resources that made it a 'paradise' when initially settled by Polynesians. Today's Haiti, is undergoing the same 'phenomenon' with the island being stripped of tress (to make charcoal) causing erosion and water problems and reducing the amount of areable land. Out-migration to the USA is their only 'hope' given the lack of 'abortion' and other population control measures the 'government' is not using due to its Catholic 'infection'.
