Frankly, I doubt that anyone who writes for the Life/Style Section New York Times ever leaves the more-expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan, except when heavily chaperoned, and then only for expensive resorts in Bermuda, skiing in Aspen, or a suite at the Ritz in London or Paris.

Which means that if five of their co-op neighbors are doing it, it's a national trend . . .
