Again with the soul, the existence or non existence of which is impossible to determine.

However, I will say that people have unique personalities, as do animals (ever had a dog?)

We build civilizations, but then insects create highly efficient, agricultural colonies which outstrip human efficiency. Small colonial mammals share responsibilities in rearing young, maintaining lookouts to watch for danger, and in finding food.

You're right in the assertation that people think but guess what...so do animals! In fact, the reasoning skills and intelligence of many primates, parrots, corvids (crows), toothed whales, and mollusks (octopuses and others) are equal to or surpass that of a 6 year old child.

Biblically speaking, Adam and Eve were Vegetarians, which, according to the bible, was the way god wanted things.

As to the notion that god created us...I believe that god, and the idea of god is incredibly complex and woefully oversimplified.

A higher power, maybe, but not an omnipotent version of ones dad.

Scared of the word god? Hardly. Where did you get that crazy idea? Sheesh, people.

It would seem to me that you are the scared one. You're scared to be lumped in with the rest of the animal kingdom, afraid to no longer be classified as something special or superior.

We're animals. Essentially bipedal, hairless apes. And I embrace that completely.
