Hm, Mine's a R26, 1 cylinder upright, former police bike from the Bundes Polizei. Still goes like bloody Hell (in the good sense of the word) and even beats my BSA of the same displacement.

However, None is better than my 2-stroke 1955 Jawa 350-twin. The thing's uglier than sin, but Man! the best off-road performance for anything that ugly but It will start under ANY condition short of being submerged and get you there where you want to be.

I love that bike and the people who made it (Even if they were Communists).

Oh, and for a 2stroke that size and age......200 MPG. That's not too shabby by half.
