Re: Science and Engineer careers not compatible with motherhood

"I am yet to meet an American woman below the age of 50 who can cook or bake anything decent on her own. Or a one who would know how to properly wash a premium woolen sweater. Especially in the South only a few know what the shoes and dresses are for. And that black and brown (and sometimes bright pink) are not the only colors in the world."

Cooking, washing, and getting dressed are not inherently feminine demands nor are they inherently femine talents. I assume you put on clothes and manage to feed yourself, occasionally? Why should these things be outsourced to a wife when they can easily by either partner? Because a wife is expected to provide domestic labor so her husband's labor can be turned into capital. Read your ass some Marx.
