My question would be why these fast "food" companies are so afraid and resistant to listing this information. If they aren't doing anything wrong, why not be up front with the info?

I don't think you can consider "fast food" as "food" either; it is more like a combination of chemicals that is dressed up, dyed, shaped, broiled and made to look like a nutrient source.
