Can someone explain? The Explainer, maybe?

I know it stands for Democratic Farmer Labor, but what is the DFL? Is it just the Dem party of MN?

For Al's sake I hope he doesn't become the DFL candidate who finishes DFL cause were I from MN I'd vote for him.

Doubt he stands a chance, though. Seriously, whoever heard of an entertainer running for office and winning? Oh, wait...Reagan, Arnold, Sonny Bono. Come to think of it, Regan, Schwartzenegger and Bono did far more egregious things during their entertainment careers than Al has ever done. You ever hear Sonny Bono sing? Ouch!
