Obviously this article is one way to help Al Franken with his "quandry". Mr. Kinsley's liberal leaning is peppered through out the article.

By the end of the article, us Americans better have figured out that Al can't be held responsible for any joke he has told because it was a JOKE. Doesn't seem to matter that the content may be so disgusting or demeaning. Saying or doing disgusting things couldn't possibly be a reflection of Al's beliefs.

Besides, Al is INTERESTING and Norm Coleman is man of no interest.

I usually do not read these MSN blurbs and this article confirms why.
