Re: Abortion Sterilized Me Permanently

I'm not certain you yourself have ever experienced the procedure."

Um, have you actually been reading my posts?

And here is the problem with your posts:

"You say my case is rare, and I hope to God it is, but apparently enough bad things have happened enough times that it's come down to this warning thing."

I see now that for whatever reason, you are basing your opinions not only on personal feelings, but on misinformation and miseducation about the subject at hand. It is not me who says your case is rare, that is just a fact. You can look it up, unless you are unwilling to admit that for some reason. You claim to know all of these women who regret having abortions and haven't gotten over it; how many of them almost died and had to have hysterectomies? I'm thinking of the women I know who have had abortions (and some, sadly, more than one) and all of them went on to have more children. I don't know of anyone who had complications. This "warning thing" is not in response to "bad things happen[] enough times". Where did you get that idea? That is not even in the article, nor is it even alluded to in the decision. Abortions haven't suddenly gotten wildly more dangerous. And since that is the case, this philosophical and medically inaccurate warning is being given for another reason - political.
