Degsme - if it's the content of the message that is the problem, what sorts of messages would be okay? Would you have a problem with requiring doctors to provide women with ultrasound images of the fetus (or images of others at the same age)? At least then there can be no dispute about facts - a picture is raw data.

You said something about publishing all opinions - do you think it would be okay for a state legislature to make doctors pass out short pamphlets outlining various arguments about abortion that included unedited submissions by, say, Planned Parenthood?
