"Since when has a letter been law? Never."

Since when does a phrase in the preamble make law? Never. However, in tha letter it does show Jefferson, one of the founding fathers, did intend to seperate Church and State which the author of your website through quote mining says was not the intent.

Further, Jeffersons letter was quoted directly in the 1878 case. And again, Jefferson stated rather clearly his view in writing the Virginia Statute which you also ignore.

But hey, you keep going with that whole Christian Nation thing you like to spout off about and trying to put everyone elses civil rights under your religious views...facts and truth have never stopped you before so why change now?

Jefferson didn't run the country. The Constitution stopped that. Still he wrote his own version of the Bible by editing out what he didn't like, You can still buy one today just goggle "Jefferson Bible". Sure sounds like he was against religion doesn't it?
