And a President with military experience is such a liability. Like that George Washington guy, he used his military credentials to make himself ruler for life...oh wait...he set us on track for over 200 years of representative democracy.

Military service shouldn't be a requirement for the presidency, but it damn sure helps. If we could find a veteran who's been a successful entrepreneur and a national-level politician, he would be the most "qualified" in terms of resume and relevant experience. As it stands though, I'll lean towards the combat vet with over 20 years in Congress (i.e. 2 out of 3) over someone who's been a "community organizer" (whatever the hell that means) and been in Congress 2 years without a single significant bill to his name.
