I must say this is the most enlightening post I have been on yet. This thread was well written and I too could not have said it better. For the first time, I am able to understand the view of those who do not want Obama for President due to the lack of name calling and insults on this post.

That being said, I would like to point out that it is a Republican regeime who has brought our wonderful country where it is today, practically bankrupt. We dont need any more of that. As for Obama, well he was my choice, but even I am questioning his motives now. However, he is a Democrat with a great deal of intelligence. Also, what the media calls his "flip flopping" only lets me know that he is willing to listen to his advisors and not run full steam ahead with his own failed ideas. To me, thats a good thing. He also seems to know how to surround himself with the best of the best, judging from his choice of campaign managers. Who ever that is, could have gotten Howdie Doodie elected.

How about we give the guy a chance. After all, a President cant really just do whatever he wants. We do have congress to put him in check and I think the guy is very honest and really wants to do what is best for the country and its people. And by the way, let us not forget that the less INTELLIGENT and WEAK are also our people. When we were helping the POOR our country did not suffer lack. We are our brothers keepers. Dont be so judgemental as to why some NEED help.

As a Christian, I believe in the scriptures which says to "pray for all those in authority, that we may live quiet and peaceable lives". I think Obama is the one who would hear God best if prayed for. Have faith, give support and lets move on.
