True, Sonny does appear to have ridden on the coat tails of his very talented wife and did make a few appearances on Love Boat and Fantasy Island, I think, until he discovered the Republican Party and what a bunch of gullible suckers they are for "Stars" [because so few are dishonest enough to actually be republican] but will muck about with them for a continuing "Gig".
