For ANY of you to say negative things about childcare is just wrong. It is dirty, smelly, physically draining, emotionally draining, hectic, and all that. It requires alot of thinking to get them all occupied, keep up with state standards, food program standards and whatever else may come up. We have many guidelines to follow, be ready for state to show up at ANY time to watch what we are doing and look at our paperwork.

Then don't do it. Or charge more. You're the one setting your rates. If you thought you could get a better deal doing something else, you would. Obviously, there's something compensating you for only making $2.18 per hour (per kid?).
