Re: Correlation does not equal causation

I know we are all conditioned to throw out "correlation does not equal causation" at a moment's notice given how bad the popular media can be at such things, but the author is making the case that critics are reflective of their readers, making the case for correlation. Causation is meaningless to the hypothesis.
