Re: Frightened Fossil Fools

Oh god this post on so many levels gives me a headache.

Firstly, America is decentralized this consumes more energy,

1) We need to centralize all major cities and throw support into them for efficiency etc. There should be regulation of consumer driven industries that exploit cities for greed and not for the benefit of the city that they are exploiting.

Secondly, we have lost the idea of conservation and renewal. We need to mandate how new businesses and houses are created while up the road or down the street a house is abandoned and lays to rot. The new construction takes with it the beauty of the previously tree-laden, walking friendly area with soon to be cracking cement and walking unfriendly strip malls or houses, that may or may not have sidewalks.

Thirdly, we already have the capability of increasing water, and resource economy by 90%. Denmark has done it, we should follow their example.

4. Utilities should go back into government control

5. The FCC should be disbanded, they unnecessarily raise our communication costs and stifle our ability to communicate in the US.

6. If we built a 6 mile wave platform in the ocean, the waves would generate enough power that could be converted to energy to power the entire world. There is a city in (Scotland?) that has been successfully using this.

7. On Obama and the goofy plan that was presented. Kinda like in grade school where kids promise bubblegum and new pop machines in the hallways.....those are not plans those are statements made that are to get elected. Not actually things that are feasible. But if people making wild statements is considered "planning" by obama followers then um......McCain says that he will wipe out poverty, have christ return to earth and restore peace in the middle east, and ummm eliminate the energy crisis. There ya go.

8. Worldwide population control should be instated, including informing families and building in incentives to support fewer children per family. We are overpopulated and that is definitely contributing to our energy crises.
