Re: another push-into-daycare factor: tax code

Well, telecommuting is ONE way to help out both males and females that work in industries that would allow for that.

Flex-time I think is something almost everyone, regardless of blue collar or white collar job, can have. Variations will occur, of course. And in all of my posts, I explicitely stated that it would depend on the type of job someone had and some may not benefit from it. It's possible.

But where it can work and does work, it should be done.

And, of course, it's also voluntary. If you don't need it and it actually wouldn't work for you (and that can happen) then you can just work the regular day.

Clear it up any? I mean, we're just discussing here. No one is saying they have all the answers or that we are looking for fairytales or perfection.

And I'm also not getting into a pissing contest with you about who's got it worse - men or women. We both have problems, just a different kind. But nonetheless we can work together in improving things for everybody, regardless of gender, where we can.

And I refuse to back down from discussing it and seeing if it can work because a few old male curmudgeons think that we're just a bunch of hens cackling about nothing.

Cheers.
