No I haven't. Right now I have been out of the loop long enough that I really need to sharpen my skills a bit, which was the reason for asking about the online sites. As I am sure you know, though, it's really hard to play at the same level online that one plays with hands on with other players, the same intensity isn't there. It's hard to reach that same level of competiveness when one can cycle through games so fast.

I had a really neat experience recently. I was in Germany and like in much of Europe they have those chess games that they play on painted boards on the ground with these two or three foot tall pieces. People, basically guys, sit around the edges watching the game or waiting to play. But the cool thing was to see these older guys get on the board where they just turned into tigers. We have a cultural tendency to not see the vitality in some older people, so it was nice to see how fierce these guys were playing the game. (Apologies for this to Phil, but our culture is just so youth oriented). It made me want to keep the same sharpness as I get older.
