For about the first time I think that Prudence did not give the right answer. Dogs in the office can be good for everyone and I know people who do occassionally take their dogs to work with them (the library, a regular office, etc.). However, no dog should come to the office if it is noisy, obtrusive, or is not completely house trained. To allow dogs that are not is irresponsible on the part of management.
