Re: More Inane ramblings

I read your first hint and discovered that the middle east has people whose first language is Arabic but not ethnic Arabs.

I am not sure what that is supposed to mean. Muslims who convert are supposed to give up their language?

The English term God has nothing to do with religion? Hmm. What does God mean then?

Change the scenario. If a native English speaker converts to Islam, does he continue to use the English term God or does he start using Allah?

What was the point of the English/Arabic glossary of Christian terms? Wikipedia is not an extremely authoritative source and is not allowed in most high schools as a term paper source.

What I really want to know regarding the supposed Christian/Arabic tradition is Santa Claus. I am curious because the origin of Saint Nickolaus is from the 3rd century. But Saint Nickolaus day is Dec 6. Pere Noel (The Wiki stated borrowed origin of the Arabic) is an adaption of the British Father Christmas and is a rather late addition. Santa Claus as such is a 19th century creation in the USA.

Nice going on the research. Too bad it is meaningless
