I have been not angry but furious with Congress on this issue of Supreme Court appointments for several years. It's not just about women, it is about the ownership of the Court's definition of justice by corporatized and propertied interests, the gutting of the rights of individuals compared to enhanced corporate ownership and legally protected lack of social and environmental responsibility, and the narrowing concept of the Bill of Rights...
Our Court is diminishing an individual's civil rights and dignity, enhancing the right of the government to put us in jail when we don't agree, and enlarging the right of non-person legal entities to rip us off and get away with it.
I will support the Second Amendment equally with the right to privacy; I will support the right of collective bargaining equally with my right to punitive damages against unethical corporations and/or employers, and I will support the right of people to sue others for personal liability for civil torts so that the definitions of crimes in this country can be reduced to that of other civil societies.
