The article was about a homosexual man who wanted to find God, but didn't want to give up the homosexuality, so he hunted down a religion that would allow homosexuals into the clergy. Then it seemed to complain that most Christian sects still don't allow it (they are not progressive enough).

Again, this is my perception of the article, so if you think it means something else, okay, I won't argue.
