I agree with all the points made by previous posters here. It is absurd to claim a car that gets such poor milage is "green" or guilt free in any way. What we really need to do is get over the idea that every American needs a race car with tons of torque. 90% of our driving is going to and from work in traffic. This morning I saw a Bentley driving next to me on highway 101, going about 30 mph. That car gets 12 miles per gallon and the idiot drives it to work? At some point we need to start thinking of cars as practical items that should get us from point A to point be safely and as efficiently as possible.
