The Internet has given pseudo-experts a platform from which to espouse their typically generic ideas to the masses. The good part is that people are reading more now because of the Internet, but the negative is the quality of the content that they are reading. I have my own blog (shameless plug, www.twowhiteboys.com), where we hope we can entertain our readers and inspire some dialog. Discourse is the ultimate goal. I know I don't like reading articles that are several pages long, but I also don't like articles that are full of links and bolded words and other things mentioned in the article. I guess I'm old-school that way.
