I personally come from a Mayflower family. My family also ran a stop on the underground railroad. However, the thing I am (perhaps) proudest of in my family's history is that my grandmother had the courage and conviction to do the right thing and stand up against Japanese Internment. Of course, she was a redhead ... which is a far, far better thing, it seems, than a reddawg.

This is the kind of courage we need from all Americans -- especially from those aspiring to the highest office our Constitution has to offer. Obama has it. McCain does not. Enough said.
