If this was the only thing women selected for, there'd be a lot of single women since the median income is far less than six figures. Yes, there are women who only look at income. But these are few and far between.

In my experience, there's a pretty large gap between words and actions in this department, and a lot of denial in many cases. In many cases it's never about money, but whatever the "real" issue is somehow is able to be overlooked until some financial problem pops up.
