Is Slate trying to be cute with this "Baraxycontin"? Have there actually been reported cases of Obama supporters using Oxycontin or similar drugs at Obama rallies? It has not been reported widley in any MSM sources that I have seen and nothing came up when I Googled "Obama rallies" and Oxycontin. So, if it's not a real phenomenon, why do we need to name it? Why not write stories about the candidates and their stands on the issues? I know that you can't be as snide and cute, but maybe the media could do the job of informing the American electorate?
