I can't believe that with all the issues our country has that what a candidate's wife wears and where it was purchased is of any importance. As long as someone isn't naked and their clothing is clean, I have no desire to know anything more.

I am also astonished that once again the American public is trying to make someone conform to "our" standards of what you should look like or what you should be wearing. You are no different than Bush who has been attempting with all his might and the might of this country to make Iraq conform to our standards by trying to make Iraq understand the principles of democracy to no avail with a different culture.

Mrs. Obama is educated and intelligent and also unaccustomed to being in the spotlight and being aware of every single word you speak and every move you make being analyzed to death. Give the woman a break.

Where is our understanding and our democratic principles in all of this?
