This pretty much destroys the arguments of the administration, and all of its supporters, within and without the government, regarding the efficacy of the Republican policies to protect the United States (and the free world) from terrorist threats; doesn't it?
I'm willing to bet that the same can be said of the U.S.A. Patriot Act in all of its incarnations.
