Statistics don't tell the full story of marital satisfaction. Perhaps virgins who married stayed with their spouses unhappily because their religion dictated that they could not divorce. My parents waited until marriage, and they are two of the most incompatible people I've ever met. My childhood memories are full of their arguments and tears, not of a happily married, faithful couple. The reason that experienced people may break up more often is that they've given themselves opportunities to test the relationship and see if it's compatible before embarking on 25 + years of unhappiness.

Though your attitude is close-minded in the extreme, I am sorry you think that you were responsible for your condition. Schizophrenia is an organic, hereditary illness. To think otherwise suggest that you're suffering feelings of guilt, possibly induced by conservative religion.
