While I think the white priest was excoriated for an inappropriate (and I think pandering) performance during a Sunday morning sermon(?), I believe the attribution was correct. It should have been presented on Saturday Night Live or have been the second in a new series, The Eleventh Hour.
Ms. Clinton's early, apparently solitary claim to the office, lulled her into a false sense of security in which she forgot about fate and death as finite realities every human confronts. She did recall death as a possibility when she referenced Bobby Kennedy so she was getting back on track in terms of Finiteness but sadly too late in terms of sequence.
When Fate interrupted her solitary status, she underestimated her opponent for reasons unknown. She claimed the role of candidate for no other apparent reason than that she was entitled to it. The price she paid of course was a public tie to W.J.Clinton which they carried out as a family charade.
God forbid that any politician should accept responsibility for their decisions and actions. They might run the risk of guilt and condemnation. So blame it on something or someone...oh yes, those men who have held women down for all these centuries. That is really what sexism is all about isn't it. If it weren't for him I could have....
