Having been castigated by even Obama supporters (of the weenie variety) for attacking Hillary for being the unprinicipled GOPig in disguise, self obsessed and self centered tool that she's only been for oh, 40 fucking years, it's nice to know that even the professional know nothings are catching on.
Any woman that votes for John McCain will, in the words of my dear friend, Zoran the Serb, "get exactly what they deserve."
In fact, my brother and I have designed a new logo for Feminists For McCain: It's the legend "Feminists for McCain '08" encircled by a broken hanger. I guess if the most hard core feminists are willing to sacrifice their younger sisters to death by back alley abortions just to assuage their ego-driven disappointment, who am I or anyone to stand in the way? Have at it ladies.
Of course, the reality is that the great divide was never gender based. The Clinton Machine divided the Dem electorate on the basis of race and age. That is the story that was the most distorted of the reporting season. Younger women have strongly supported Obama and have had no problem making a switch to him once Hillary dropped out. It's only people who have a deep seated resentment against black men who will sacrifice everything on the issues to support a demented old white male who looks like he's about six brain cells away from total dimentia.
A man who dropped his first wife after she suffered a disfiguring accident to marry a rich mistress, one who not only puts up with being called a "cunt" in public but who got nailed ripping off heavy duty narcotics from a clinic set up for poor children. Yep, the woman is a drug stealing junkie who ripped off poor kids and, naturally, got away with it.
Oh, but Michelle Obama is some kind of threat because she's "angry". Uh huh.
There is no percentage in Obama bending over backwards to entice bitter, incoherent lunatics to vote for him. That's a job better suited to a bitter, incoherent candidate like McCain. Rather, he should reach out to make sure that his far more massive base-- independents, the young, the self-disenfranchised, are fired up and ready to vote. It's not a matter of reaching out to the worn out electorates that have, time and again, failed to deliver for the party. It's time to simply give enough hope to the rest of us so that we get off our asses, ring bells, send letters, and VOTE.
And once elected with a new coalition, say a long deserved and well overdue goodbye to the former dysfunctional Democratic "family" that was so well represented by that scummy Clinton Machine.
