The term 'chuck' seems so vulgar when speaking (or writing) about embryos. It makes it seem like the writer doesn't care that the miniscule mass of cells and DNA is nothing more than just that. An embryo is, well would have, been a human being. A living breathing person. I hope as well that Saletan used the word with "thoughtful intent"
