Had Google put up a minature US flag (which theres a good chance I would have done just that, had I had my own search engine millions of people use, which I don't), no doubt endless masses of dipshits from around the world would complain about "Americans thinking they own the world", plus few left-wing Americans. [never mind that Google headquarters are in the US]. But since they didn't, instead right-wingers will complain that they didn't, because you know, if you're based in the US and are somewhat successful its somehow your responsiblity to let everyone know how American (or certain ethnicity) you are.
But wait, it gets better. Since some of Google's founders consist of a Russian guy and I think some Japanese guy too, I am sure there's some Russian and Japanese people complaining why no Russian or Japanese flags. I am sure there's some Japanese guy going "o that darn librar, why no Japanese flag." And if Google has any Hispanic employees, Hispanic-Americans will start to complain "hey essay, hutto forgot where he came from, eh". Never mind the endless tirades of your persecution-complex religious people of major faiths.
I guess thats the price you pay for using your semi-public realestate (land or screen) to comomorate certain places, people, things, ideas--- whiners complaining that they haven't made the list too. Similar rule applies to charity, but I digress.
