Given the additional years of life expectancy that women have over men has always held this bright spot: if you can hang on long enough, and keep the ticker in good enough shape, eventually, the women to men ratio will be so favorable that even the shyest dweeb of a fellow will become a gansta playa in his dotage. My observations, though limited, show that most men in nursing homes are outnumbered by the ladies at least 2 to 1 and often 4 or 5 to 1.

I have little hope for retirement in a Tuscan Villa. However, I have much hope for spending my winter years rolling from room to room tending to my stable of octagenarian hotties at the public rest home. As they say (or at least as they ought to say), "When you're in the saddle all day, it hardly matters if the bunkhouse is swanky."
