Pick something, anything, if it has any interaction with the real world then it can be measured. If it can be measured then if God does anything with it then we could prove him. We can't.

How do YOU know if it's measurable or not? That seems awfully arrogant that it is measurable if YOU determine it so. Many things happen that people brush off as coincidence.

Take mermaids story about her son's friend that was hit by a car and needed to be put into a halo. This device helped him heal in such a way that allowed him to walk again even though the doctors gave him extremely small odds. Oh, and the "coincidence" of this story is that this boy's father invented the halo.

I have no idea if they prayed but tell me if this is a situation that can be measured?

I don't think I'm alone in my thinking, but praying does not require a formal method. An internal cry for help, does that fall into your "measurable" category?

Either extreme side of the equation, athiest or devout, that thinks they know "the truth", knows nothing about reality and should keep thier mouth shut.
