The cause of the Recession, going into a Deep Recession, is that too few people had too much money and this keep the wheels of commerce from moving fast enough to keep people employed, earning money, buying things, that keep other people employed, erarning money, and so forth.

The stimulous package is in the right track. It is much FASTER than asking some workers to move dirt from one side of the road and another group moving the dirt to where it was. Yes, it serves training, etc. (I don't know about etc.).

What is needed is Stimuous II Package and our California Governor Schwarzenegger was the first to submit the kind of projects that not only put people to word but MORE importantly, these projects improve the efficiency of our transportation infrastructure.

It is clear that unless the rail system, the most efficient of all, is greately expanded, cities like Las Vegas, Denver, Albuquerque and others will go out of business for lack of tourism, domestic and foreign.

An efficient freight rail network, with rail-tunnels at strategic places to reduce transit time, will expedite and lower the cost of production of many key items. For example, 5 MegaWatt Windmills could be build anywhere the most efficient factories exist and taken to wherever the wind blows, or on barges off shore. This work is essential to keep coal miners from starving, even if they voted against Obama, our future President. I am sure he will do like he has said many times.
