I don't expect you to discuss individual cases.
It's your choice whether or not you want to discuss matters of policy enforcement. It's been quite inconsistent, in your absence. We all saw the ubiquitous "C*******ing is..." tags for months and months, and nothing was done about it. We've all watched the sockpuppet rating wars. Yet suddenly, tag and rating abuse warrants swift, decisive administrative correction.
It's the inconsistency that's troubling - Maxwell's silver hammer seems to be dropping capriciously.
I don't expect any sort of explanation from you in regards to individual cases - in fact, it'd be disturbing if you did discuss individual cases in a public forum, or with third parties. But perhaps some sort of warning shot across the bow, not in the form of individual bannings but in a position statement (seeing as your position, at least in regards to enforcement, is obviously a new one) would provide some sense of fairness.
Just wanted to let you know how I felt about the public aspects of the matter. But thanks for responding - I do appreciate that.
