Re: Dear "Angry" White Women
by kdr2004

Well I wasn't angry until I read this thread...

I am a 50 year old woman, does that matter? It started like this, I have always voted red and have never participated in primaries of any election. This year I ranked the candidates based on my personal opinions, likes and dislikes:

Hillary, McCain, then Obama

So I went out and voted Hillary, my card was stamped Democrat, and then attended the caucases, ughhh, what a nightmare and a learning experience. My dad will be attending the convention as an Obama delegate from a county that went overwhelmingly Hillary, how this happens he considers a truly democratic process, I observed and felt like I was in a bad dream. No problem, I have a second choice ready.

Convincing me to vote for the good of the party and that I am doing this because I am an old angry white woman will not work...but millions of woman and men appear to now have this dilemma. Now I have listened to some of Obama's rhetoric and I like some of HIS decisions BUT rhetoric from his devoted fans are turning me off. Now the question for you is how can you get me to vote for him and I can suggest that treating bite and others this way, will not get my vote and the more you call me (her) stupid and old etc. will cement it to McCain. Oh BTW, I am not a bite fan but the treatment by some on here is similar to Hillary's, just an observation.
