Well you can argue about whether or not Jesus was divine, but there is no doubt that he was real.

Many scholars who study this sort of thing don't agree that Jesus existed without a doubt. There aren't any first hand accounts, even if you include the Bible. Now I haven't made a study of the issue, so my knowledge is pretty limited. But I'm confident that the historians who studied this went about their studies in a logical manner and so I see no reason to doubt their conclusions.

Of course Jesus existed. He was a nice Jewish boy, but a little meshugge.
