I loved the Sex and the City Movie
by Bridezilla
And I think it's ludicrous to say that people cried harder in this movie than in something about the Iraq war. That is like newspaper writers who critique people who watch reality shows, saying the viewers could be using that time to help the homeless, but guess what? The newspaper writers could be using the time they spend writing criticizing columns to help the homeless, but they don't. There's no need to draw didactic conclusions about a movie that in no way pretends to be academic or about moral issues. The war in Iraq is sad. Getting jilted at the altar would make anyone with a soul feel like the took a bullet. There's no comparison.People cry in Sex and the City because the writing and acting is so amazing you can't help but be moved. It's not SATC's fault that war documentary-makers can't accomplish a similar feat.
