I'm certain Dickerson is correct: the 47 year old Obama, without having served even one full term in the Senate (fully half the duration of which he spent campaigning for the Democratic nomination) will, if elected, end politics as we know it and comprehensively transform Washington. The diabolical Clinton's will melt into the pavements of our Capital so that the sun may shine again and flowers may bloom more. Thenceforth, no one will ever take a cynical view of anything and partisan politics will end as we know it. Americans of all political affinities will tingle in ecstasy just from Obama's charisma. How can anyone doubt the special powers of this single, wonderful man? Unpolluted by experience, Obama personifies ... change we can believe in ... Yes we can ... change we can believe in ... Yes we can ... change we can believe in ... Yes we can ...
