Re: I'm with Kim!

I reccommened this, and I wish I could a hundred times over.

The Oppression Olympics that we've been struggling through this primary season has been ugly & unnecessary. I swore on Super Tuesday, when my state had its caucus, that I would work towards the election of whichever candidate the Democratic Party put forward, because I believed then, and still do, that the Republican Party has proven repeatedly that it cannot be trusted with the leadership of the United States. There have been times recently when the supporters of Mr Obama have turned my stomach with their misogynistic comments about Mrs Clinton. Their scorn for her has threatened the promise I've made to myself, that I would work for what I believe is the best possible outcome of the election (a Democrat in the White House come January, 2009). Because I do believe it, I will do all I can. I just wish that all of those same supporters would have made the same committment, to say that this election is about the future of the country and that it was and is to important to allow it to be thrown away for the sake of petty biases.
